Trail Overview
This is a super fun offshoot from Kirk Road that gets you into thicker trees and more frequent wildlife. The trail is a combination of dirt and sand, making it a very fun texture to drive on through the fast and flowy sections. It does get very dusty during the summer. At the end of the trail, you will find a dried-up spring bed with plenty of animal activity. There is active logging on Kirk Road. So be sure to watch out for log trucks if traveling here during the weekdays. This trail is not quite big enough to fit 2 vehicles side by side, but you can easily take a full-size rig here.
Difficulty
The trail is almost, but not quite, 2 vehicles wide. It is well maintained; however, due to the soft texture of the road surface, ruts are easily worn in. Most sections are hardpack; however, there are sections of soft sand in areas that may make it difficult for a 2WD vehicle to complete this trail. During the winter months, this trail may be snowed over, greatly increasing the difficulty.
