Black Butte North - FS 1110-700

This is a narrow, dirt-based, one-vehicle-wide trail with places to pass. The trail climbs nearly 600 feet in elevation over 3 miles and has overgrown vegetation in many areas. The trail takes you around the top of the butte and ends where the trail narrows to nothing with trees down. On this side, you will have views across the valley near Sisters and of the peaks in the area. Camping is allowed along this trail, and there are multiple pre-existing campsites. This trail is suitable for any vehicle type. Cell phone service was decent on the trail, but there are no amenities, so you should travel prepared. The nearest services are 10-15 minutes away in the town of Sisters.
