Riverside Camp - FS 1419-800

This is a dirt-based forest road near Camp Sherman that runs parallel to the Metolius River. The trail is wide enough for two vehicles to pass, has minor ruts and washouts 6 inches to a foot deep, and several deep potholes. Overall, the trail is easy and suitable for any vehicle type. The trail passes by the Riverside Campground, which is a walk-in tent camping area right on the river. The only amenity on this trail is vault-style toilets at the campground, and cell phone service is weak, so travel prepared. The nearest services and supplies are approximately 20 minutes away, but there is a cafe/store in Camp Sherman as well.
