Trail Overview

This is a gravel forest road that transitions to dirt with rock. The trail passes through private timber company land and connects you to the trail network in the National Forest. There are washboard sections and minor ruts and wash, but overall this is an easy trail that is suitable for any vehicle type. Camping is allowed in the area that is National Forest, and you will have dense forest views and views of the surrounding ridges. Cell phone service is weak but enough to send a message, and there are no amenities along the trail. The town of Sisters is the nearest services and supplies, approximately 15 minutes from the beginning of this trail.
