Trail Overview
This beautiful trail enters forestry land managed by Weyerhaeuser, where posted signage prohibits camping, hiking, fires, and other activities. Please follow all posted restrictions and respect the property. Shortly after the start, the road splits. Stay to the left, as the right branch leads uphill toward an active logging area and is not advisable to travel. The main route has been recently graded to a point, then begins a steep descent. The downhill section can become muddy before leveling out and eventually transitioning into a more aggressive climb. Once you begin the climb, there is no suitable place to turn around, so be prepared before continuing. The trail ends where indicated because it becomes overgrown beyond that point. Do not attempt to continue onto the overgrown section. The steep descent and climb require a capable vehicle, and the terrain can put significant demands on your brakes, so use caution throughout. This area is open year-round on gravel roads. However, travel on dirt roads is restricted during wet conditions, which typically occur from October 1 through June 1.
