Jasmine Road

Jasmine Road is one of the inner trails within the Boiling Spring Lakes Preserve trail network and offers a more adventurous experience than many of the maintained roads surrounding the preserve. These inner trails generally receive little maintenance, and Jasmine Road has become increasingly overgrown over time due to infrequent vehicle traffic. Despite the vegetation, the underlying trail surface is generally firm and free from major obstacles, allowing users to continue exploring the route under favorable conditions. Weather can significantly change the character of this trail, however, as the silty coastal sand can soften quickly when saturated with water. Users should use additional caution following periods of heavy rain and be prepared for conditions to differ from those found on the better-maintained outer trails. Jasmine Road is a fun option for users looking to explore the quieter interior of the trail network.
