Trail Overview

The trail starts at a cattle guard after you leave the staging area. The first few miles are soft sand with little to no obstruction. The area to the north side of the trail is a public access shooting area. Once past the shooting area, the trail narrows and drops down a dry creek valley before coming back up. At the fork, you may go either direction as it will eventually loop you back to this spot. Most of the trail is mild, hard-packed sand/dirt with intermittent areas of loose rock. There is a very high chance of coming across groups of wild horses throughout the year. At the higher elevations you can look down into the valley over Reno/Sparks and see the mountains to the west.

Super easy, super fun. Let my teenager drive most of the loop. Weather was clear with high winds. Trail in good condition.

Went counterclockwise in stock xterra in 2wd no snow or standing water quite a bit of rocks. Most technical area was coming down to hit Y to head back to staging area.

Trail was fun. Light snow, plenty of mud but nothing extravagant. 4Runner, Tacoma and Cybertruck no issues. Good testing ground for vehicles we say.

Nice area. Easy trail but there are some obstacles to have some fun with your machine. Plenty of other trails to explore. We did see a herd of wild horses in the distance.

A lot of slow, rocky sections. Nothing technical just slow and bumpy. Nice easy trail to get out above SS. Saw a nice antelope herd and no people.

Not viable on a dirt bike. Loose rock everywhere and sharper larger ones dug in below that. Stay out
