Spanish Springs Foothills

A multi-directional trail in the Spanish Springs Foothills that can be used as a connector to many other trails. The trail consists of various elevation changes and steep grades. Hard pack gravel is the norm with areas of large loose rocks. Cell Service is limited in the valley, make be sure to save your off-line maps. Night riding the trails becomes difficult to navigate with many dead ends off the main trail. It is recommended to ride with another vehicle or group due to the possibility of becoming high centered on portions of the trail . This trail has opportunities to see wild horses, pronghorn, and free range cattle. At times these animals may be on the trail.During winter months, the high elevation trails become impassable due to deep snow.
