Trail Overview

Wagon Mountain Road travels between Graves Creek Road and Fish Creek Road, mostly along a ridge in the Lolo National Forest. When starting at Graves Creek Road, you have the option to exit via Howard Creek or Fish Creek Road heading north or south. You can also take FS 4237 to the location of the previous Lolo Springs Lookout that was removed in 1963.

Difficulty

The road can have standing puddles at certain times of the year and is narrow on several of the climbs. The side trip to Lolo Springs Lookout is overgrown in the middle of the road.

Trail from Graves road thru Wagon Mt Road was cut open of all the trees that were down. Trail was dusty in spots but it was a pretty smooth ride to the intersection of FS238. Bear Grass was every where.
