Trail Overview

This well-maintained gravel road offers an engaging drive with a series of steep ascents and descents as it winds through a dense and scenic forest. At the start of the trail, travelers may notice signs of active logging operations, so caution is advised when entering or exiting the area. As the trail continues, it provides a mix of shaded stretches, open viewpoints, and opportunities to explore several spur trails that branch off from the main route. These side trails vary in accessibility but can lead to secluded spots perfect for a quiet break or a bit of off-road exploration. The route crosses two rivers, adding scenic water features along the way, with areas that provide access for fishing, wading, or simply enjoying the sound of flowing water. Near the end of the trail, the road comes to an abrupt stop, where two former continuations are now heavily overgrown and no longer passable. Despite the sudden ending, this trail offers a rewarding mix of elevation changes, forest beauty, and water crossings, making it a great drive for those who appreciate rugged, natural surroundings and a touch of adventure.
