FS 8367

FS 8367 is an easy 1.3 bidirectional trail within the Manistee National Forest. Located off South County Line Road from the north and FS 8369 from the south, you'll find it easy to access this trail from either direction. Starting from the northern end, you'll begin on a sandy track with towering trees and vegetation lining the route. Shortly into this track, the trail transitions into a sandy track with some rock and more areas that are open and free from trees and vegetation. Take this time to fully take in the area and see what is surrounding you. As you navigate down the trail, you'll twist and turn as you climb in elevation. Be sure to take it all in, and TREAD LIGHTLY so future generations can enjoy these public spaces. Also, keep your eyes open for wildlife! This trail will surely keep you entertained. Like most of Michigan offroad trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause unfavorable conditions on the trail, including downed trees, mud holes, and washouts. Come Prepared! Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. This is not a difficult trail, but it contains a lot of fun and beauty. This trail also gives access to other great trails nearby. The southern end of the trail meets up with FS 8369, which is another great trail to check out. Other trails off this route lead to other nearby routes. Regardless of the conditions or length of this track, it's an awesome route to check out!
