FS 8270

FS 8270 is a quick dirt down-and-back off-road trail located within the Manistee National Forest. BE PREPARED FOR AN EXTREMELY TIGHT TRAIL. This track will for sure give you some new iconic Michigan pin stripes. From the west, you'll start in a tunnel of trees and finish to the east where there is a wide turnaround area. Most of the trail consists of sand and dirt. There is some private property along this trail, so please stick to the trail and respect the land of others. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause downed trees, washouts, & mud holes. Come prepared, and be ready for a tight ride! Regardless of the conditions, this is a unique trail with other cool trails nearby! PLEASE TREAD LIGHTLY, and be respectful of our public lands so future generations can have access to these trails!
