Trail Overview
This trail is fairly simple overall, making it a comfortable route for most 4WD vehicles. The main feature to be aware of is a small hill climb with a few exposed tree roots, which may require light throttle control and careful tire placement. Beyond that, the terrain remains mostly smooth and easy to navigate. On the side that opens up to the large field, there is a notable mud hole that can become deeper and slick after rain. Drivers should approach this section with caution, as the depth may vary depending on conditions.
Difficulty
This trail is mostly easy, with only minor challenges such as a small hill with tree roots and a mud hole near the field. While generally manageable, drivers should use caution in wet conditions. Overall, it remains beginner-friendly with light attention required.
History
This park was formerly known as Sandy Bottoms, and longtime visitors may still refer to it by that name. The access road and staging area have evolved over time, but it remains a well-known local spot for off-road events and community rides.
