Trail Overview

First entering Raven Cliff, there is a day-use area with parking and bathrooms. After continuing on the gravel road, you are greeted by the many hiking trails and walk-in campsites along Dukes Creek that eventually give way to steep cliffs heading up the trail. Near the top, there are a few secluded drive-in spots for those rooftop tent campers. The road is fairly well maintained and 4x4 is not needed, however, an SUV or truck would be the minimum, as there is a creek crossing up to 18 inches after some rain.

Fun simple trail. Can do it all in 2wd.

This trail has some puddles and heavy leaf cover over it right now. It gets worse after the first creek crossing. There are some washouts. But the road was passable. Towards the end is a questionable tree that could block the road at anytime with a good wind storm. Our Toyota Tundra was able to get under the tree fine. Picture included.

Very small water crossing at beginning. Small ruts and puddles from the rain. Could be done in 2wd

River crossing was a little high today. Got through it fine but definitely wouldn’t want to any deeper unless you have 12 inches of clearance

Nice out and back trail. Stay to the right of the parking lot to continue on the trail. It has a single water crossing near the beginning and the rest of the trail is your typical forest service road with a few dispersed campsites on the way up.

A tad technical throughout especially after the recent rains w/some ruts, rocky patches & puddles, yet maintained. 4wd not needed. After 2nd water crossing trail becomes a red clay muddy mess. Beautiful on trail waterfall approx 3/4 of the way up. Great trail!

Trail is closed at the first water crossing, which is not far into the trail at all. Not a great picture but it’s closed with a gate. There was no sign listing a reopening date. It did rain a little bit over the previous couple of days so it’s possible this is just a weather related closing. The campsites at the beginning of the trail were open, though.

Easy trail to navigate thru, places to stop for food and campfire. Was really foggy, so no rating on the scenery. Not much off roading, but a nice, easy trail!
