Boggs Creek

Pretty simple dirt road that leads to Boggs Creek where you can fly fish for Trout and other fish. No camping is allowed and only intended for day use only. Pretty well maintained and a few hiking trails along the way.

It was a nice quiet morning ride with a couple fishermen and dogs about. Trail is in good condition and water was kind of low. Would definitely recommend some clearance and at least AWD for the steep bank on the other side of the crossing, though the road forks at the crossing and there are other spots on the dry side. The river crossing side is closed a few hundred yards past the crossing.

Went to do a little fishing, this place is nostalgic for me as my late father and I spent lots of time here camping and fishing back in the 2000s. A lot has changed since then and I don’t believe you can camp here anymore.

Fall leaves. Very easy to get through.

Small little trail to take friends and sit by the creek for a picnic or possibly camp. At the Y in the road is a creek crossing but it leads to nothing because the road is closed about 100yds later. Left at the Y continues you down along the creek and ends at another closed road sign.

The first park of the trail was fine and the first water crossing was good. The trail to the right with is the lower boggs creek on the map was open the whole way. But the trail to the left about halfway was open but beyond that it’s closed.
