Trail Overview

This is a steep and seldom-used trail off the popular Peru Creek up to the Allan Emory and Orphan Boy Mine Site, which is not overly interesting. There are several designated dispersed camping spots after you cross Peru Creek as well as plenty of spots as the trail gets harder.

Difficulty

There is nothing technically difficult about this rail; it climbs a mostly straight line up the mountain, so expect lots of large loose rock.

Overall, this was a good trail. Not very busy. Troy was a little rough, but we would run it again.
