Trail Overview

This out-and-back trail traverses several ridges with steep grades and 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The trail is mostly made up of a two-track forest road. Several of the descents/accents are eroded, creating the most challenging and technical sections of the trail. The erosion on the hills requires 4-wheel drive and careful tire placement.

Trail was clear and easy! Some sections are a little technical for a stock 4x4 but my stock GX470 with offroad tires had no issues. Camped the night and one other car showed up but left after it started raining. Cleared up by the late afternoon.

Some of the hills are washed out pretty good. You’ll want high clearance. Motorcycles/ATVs are not officially permitted according to signage. We didn’t see another soul on Mother’s Day weekend.
