Red Elephant Hill Road - FS 811

This trail consists of dirt with scattered rocks and is wide enough for vehicles to pass. It climbs over several hills into dense aspen forest, with 6–8-inch ruts throughout. At 1.3 miles, a major hill climb has 12–18-inch ruts and requires 4WD or AWD and all-terrain tires. A gate at 1.5 miles must be closed behind you. The trail ends where it meets a flat road. Overall, this is a scenic and fun trail with a challenging hill climb.
