Mount Zion

Nice trail and not a very technical one. The area indicated in red on the elevation map is fun. It is very steep and loose. No trouble with rock but the sandy dirt gives easily. The last mile or so of the trail is now blocked by a rock line and signs indicating it’s closed at the split to the hut. When you get to the T-intersection after the steep climb is a great spot to stop for pictures or a quick bite to eat. Not much traffic on the trail at all.
