Trail Overview

Short, easy trail that turns off from CR2 and ends at the remains of the Intersection Mill, built in the 1890s during the CO gold rush. It also connects to a network of hiking trails that include the Continental Divide trail and a short, but steep hike to Crystal Lake.

Great trail! It was our first time riding in the mountains and I’m glad we chose this trail to warm us up. It was the most beautiful view at the end. We passed a few jeeps and pick ups, nice places to pull over and pass. Thank you to the guy at the start who taught us the riding hand signals, those are very helpful to know!
