Trail Overview

This trail begins at the end of Pinkham Creek Road and travels through a beautiful section of forest filled with aspens, mountain views, and occasional open valleys. The trail is mostly maintained dirt with small rocks and ruts up to 5 inches early on. At 1.2 miles, there is a campsite that fits up to five vehicles with level ground and scenic forest views. Around 3.4 miles, ruts increase to 8–10 inches. At 3.7 miles, the trail becomes narrower with limited passing room and a higher chance of pinstriping. At 5.5 miles, there is a unique campsite that fits 6–10 vehicles with multiple camping areas, a fire ring, downed wood, and an old log cabin nearby. Overall, this is a scenic and fun trail with excellent camping opportunities, especially for groups. It offers beautiful views, forest scenery, and moderate obstacles.
