FS 145

This is a short and easy out-and-back trail. The trail passes through a private area leading back to a group camp and some private houses. The local landowners have built a gate and marked it as private property, so the accessible trail terminates before the map shows. However, this road gives you access to the Tom Bennett National Forest Campground. There are 8 sites on a first-come, first-served basis with primitive facilities. The south fork of the Poudre River runs along the campground and makes for a very nice little camping spot. There are also several hiking trailheads that start from a few areas off of this forest road.
