Trail Overview

Frosty Park Road is a fun trail to use as an alternate exit after running Eagle Rock or Mount Baldy Trails, or on its own from Seven Lakes Road (FS 376). The trail winds through heavy forest and in and out of wide open meadows. There are signs of prior tracks that are now closed or illegal, so be sure to stay on the trail. While generally tame, certain lines/obstacles can increase the overall difficulty. When running the trail from east to west, just before you reach the end, you're rewarded with fantastic views of Pikes Peak and the famous cog railway. If starting from the west, be prepared for steep hill climbs with moguls.

This was surprisingly, I thought, a pretty serious trail. From Seven Lakes Rd it starts out very steep with lots of loose rocks. Very tight in sections. Lots of fun bouncing around. It can be a bit intimidating as you will definitely need good clearance on your rig and good judgement on your lines. The rest was great with amazing views.
