Trail Overview

East Willow Trail is a short spur off of the Bear Gulch Trail that goes through scenic aspen groves on a narrow dirt single track. This trail is beautiful in the fall when the aspens are changing colors. The trail looks lightly trafficked, with a few small downed logs and branches. It’s very flowy through the aspens, riding over a small rocky stream crossing, and through grassy meadows. The trail is a mostly gradual descent from north to south, only dropping about 350 feet in elevation over .7 miles. It ends on East Willow Creek Road in a grassy clearing where the trail widens into a road.
