Trail Overview

East Bear Trailhead is the beginning point. It is shared trail with hiking, motorcycles, bikes, and horses. Spring to fall is a decent time to be on the trail, as the area doesn't get a lot of snow and stays warmer. Making the way through the tight single-track trail, it has loose rocks, flowy sections, and rocky hill climbs with loose dirt. This is not an easy trail to complete, as some of the rocky hill climbs are a challenge. Nothing on it seems impossible, but it will require some work and grit to get past. Cell phone coverage is decent, but can be lost at times with the steep valley, massive rocks, and towering trees.

Difficulty

Some sections are fairly steep with large rocky features that require commitment to do. The dirt itself has a lot of gravel with sand mixed in as well, and small rocks throughout. As you make your way up, some sections are very small with a lot of overgrown vegetation.
