Trail Overview

This is a beautiful trail, especially in fall! The trail is overgrown, so be ready for some pinstripes as well as be ready for possible trees down in the trail. The trail has some narrow spots through the rock and also crosses through a rocky creek with a big waterfall and swimming hole! Add this trail to your list of many more in the area.

Difficulty

This trail is overgrown and often has fallen trees. There are smaller rocks and a creek crossing that is pretty rough. A high-clearance 4x4 or OHV is recommended.

Beautiful fall colors and scenery. Basic Forrest service road. Only challenge is crossing Wrights Creek but can be done with moderate high clearance. 4 wheel drive not necessary.

Lots of overgrown brush along the old logging railroad grade, but relatively "soft" and easy for a full-size vehicle to push out of the way. Scenic waterfall and swimming hole at Wrights Creek.

Do NOT do this trail if you like your cars paint. I’m fact… don’t waste your time at all. It’s very overgrown and was not wide enough for my 4Runner. You WILL get pinstriping. Also whoever rated this a 5 either did it in a stock base model crosstrek or has the driving skills of a dead raccoon. There are some basic obstacles, and it was very pretty, one water crossing about 8” deep. No mud, just bushes. Overall unrewarding.

Nothing crazy. Just be ready to protect your vehicles from scratches. Branches and bushes are all over the trail—no chance to leave this track without serious scratches.
