Trail Overview
This 3-mile point-to-point trail starts on Davis North - FS 42N04 and ends on Dry Larry - FS 40N79, running through the Shasta National Forest. The trail is barely one vehicle wide as it passes through a very young pine forest, with overgrown grasses and bushes filling the median along this section. The route eventually transitions into a more mature part of the forest, though the trail remains slightly overgrown here too, with some tight spots where pinstripes are likely. Drivers will need to navigate around a number of cut-down trees along the way.
Difficulty
This trail has an easy difficulty rating 2, with the main considerations being the narrow, overgrown corridor through the young forest section and maneuvering around the cut-down trees scattered along the route. The tight spots in the more mature forest add some additional brush contact but nothing beyond manageable obstacles.
