Rimshot - FS 41N21Y

Running north to south, this 2.5-mile point-to-point trail starts on Highway 49, also known as Medicine Lake Road, and ends at White Deer Lake - FS 42N40, cutting through a very young forest within the Shasta National Forest. The trail surface is dusty, fine dirt throughout the route. The trail maintains a width of 1.5 vehicles, allowing plenty of room to pass oncoming traffic comfortably. Some downed logs appear along the route that require maneuvering around. The northern section narrows considerably, with more overgrown brush closing in both along the sides and in the median.
