Railroad Grade 77

This 10-mile point-to-point trail starts on the east side at Highway 77 and ends in the village of Tennant, traveling through the Klamath National Forest as a well-graded dirt and gravel road. The trail maintains a width of 1.5 to 2 vehicles. The trail bears evidence of the 2021 Antelope Fire, which burned over 154,000 acres in the region. The forest environment alternates between sections of decent, healthy pine trees, particularly on the north side of the trail, and areas of dead, burnt trees that stand as reminders of the fire's impact. Evidence of cleanup and logging operations can be seen along the trail, reflecting active forest management and recovery efforts following the burn. Despite the fire's historical impact on the landscape, the well-graded surface and generous width make this an accessible route for a wide range of vehicles.
