Trail Overview
This 2-mile point-to-point trail acts as a vital link between Railroad Grade 77 road and the Ragwort - FS 44N12 trail. Located within the Klamath National Forest, it sits precisely on the border of the 2021 Antelope Forest Fire zone, providing a fascinating look at the contrast between the fire-impacted terrain and the intact forest. The route traverses a healthy, mature pine forest densely lined with sagebrush and a variety of native flora. The tall canopy is a significant asset during the hot summer months, providing consistent shade and cooler temperatures that make this an ideal choice for a mid-summer excursion.

A key challenge is the overgrown vegetation in the center median; because the brush is persistent and can obscure the trail bed, a high-clearance vehicle is recommended to ensure you can navigate the path without damaging your undercarriage.
