Trail Overview
This 5-mile point-to-point trail starts at Davis Road 15 and ends at the junction of Pot Hunter FS43N38 and Pumice Mtn East FS43N15. This trail was part of the 2021 Antelope Fire, and there has been extensive cleanup along the route since the burn, improving overall trail conditions and accessibility. The trail surface consists of dirt and gravel, with drivers encountering some really small ruts under 6 inches throughout the route. Trees are scattered along the trail that may require going around in a few spots, though the cleanup efforts have minimized major obstruction. The combination of manageable surface conditions and minimal remaining debris makes this an accessible route through the fire-affected landscape.
Difficulty
This trail has an easy difficulty rating of 1 based on the dirt and gravel surface, small ruts under 6 inches, and scattered trees requiring minor navigation around rather than significant obstacles. The primary consideration is simply going around any scattered trees encountered along the route.
