Old Camp Two - FS 41N03

This trail sits on the border of the Shasta and Lassen National Forests, with Lassen to the south and Shasta to the north. It functions as a great east to west route to connect with other trails in the area. The road starts as graded gravel before turning into a winding dirt road through the forest as it heads east. Various types of forest surround the trail, most of which have been thinned, and a few volcanic rock formations are visible along the way. Some washboards appear on the west end, and drivers will need to go around trees and branches at points, so use caution when following others due to the dust. Small ruts and bumpy, uneven surfaces, all under 12 inches, also show up along the route on the east end.
