Ill Repute - FS 42N90

This 4-mile out-and-back route starts and returns to Medicine Lake Road, also known as Highway 49. The road stays one vehicle wide, lined with young pine trees, bitterbrush, and manzanita bushes, along with medium-aged pine trees scattered throughout, all within the Shasta National Forest. Overgrown vegetation fills portions of the median, and the trail surface is dusty dirt covered with old pine needles and pine cones. Only a few downed cut trees require going around. A few short sections of overgrown vegetation will most likely leave a mark on your vehicle.
