Trail Overview

This route sits within the Shasta National Forest, surrounded mostly by new-growth pine trees and lots of manzanita bushes. The surface is fine dirt, 1 to 1.5 vehicles wide, and can get very dusty. Drivers will need to cross an 8-inch log along with one small partial log. On the south side, various overgrown patches of manzanita can be pushed through, though expect pinstripes as a result. The trail runs along a shelf road on the north section with some rocks, uneven surfaces, and an off-camber section under 6 inches. The rest of the trail stays fairly smooth.
