Hambone - FS 41N23

This point-to-point trail takes you from Davis North across Medicine Lake Road, also known as Highway 15, and ends at Hambone Wells - FS 41N02, right next to Hambone and Mayfield Road, which is paved. The trail cuts through a thick forest of pine trees, with some grasses growing in the median. The surface is red dirt with some gravel, staying one to two vehicles wide, and gets very dusty. Many small branches stick out along the edges, so use caution while driving. South of Medicine Lake Road, the dirt shifts to a browner color, and this southern side also picks up some rocks along the way.
