Trail Overview
This beautiful, well-maintained trail follows a mostly straight road with long stretches of gentle ups and downs. The surface consists of darker gravel and can be dusty, although not as dusty as the finer sandy roads in the area. A large fallen tree has been trimmed back to clear the road, but some debris remains, and several other logs still protrude slightly into the driving area. Use caution around these sections, especially if traveling at speed, as the remaining debris could catch you off guard. The trail leads to a large, beautifully maintained clearing. Although the road physically continues beyond this point, a gate is posted with a no-vehicles restriction. Do not proceed beyond the designated accessible section. Access is seasonal, with the trail open from April 1 through December 25, subject to any additional posted restrictions. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid California ATV Operating Permit sticker.
