Trail Overview

This is a short and easy ATV trail in the Stanislaus National Forest. Note that as of September 2025, there was a big log down on the south end right away that will need to get cut in order for ATVs to pass, and will be very difficult for dirt bikes to get over. After the log it is a wide gradual path through a mix of forest and more sun exposed grassy hillsides with a bit of loose rock. It weaves through low shrubs and oak trees, with no other major obstacles. Most other logs have been cut, so it’s likely the initial log will also get cut later in the season. The trail crosses a forest road and continues on an even wider path that looks more like a road. It’s super easy, with shallow ruts and dips and bumps, and open views through the sparse pine trees. The north end ends at a four way intersection with two other forest roads.

Difficulty

This is an easy trail with no major obstacles and hardly any rock, making it easy and approachable for newer ATV riders. There were a couple logs down as of September 2025, but they will probably get cut as it was early season and it looks like this is a popular and maintained area that will get cut for the season.
