Trail Overview

I started the trail in 2-wheel drive but not far into the trail, I had to put it in 4L. This is due to the clearance issues and needing to go slow for uneven ground. This trail closes in the summer and is open in the fall and winter. They use the trail during the summer as a hiking trail. Great trail, with lots of things to see, and mud holes to drive through. Lots of running creeks along the route. I do caution that this trail is narrow and has many low overhanging trees. No full-size vehicles, or vehicles with rooftop tents. Pinstripes are bound to happen. Please be cautious during the summer months near creeks and water sources. We do have cotton mouth and rattlesnakes along with scorpions.

Entered on the East end; tighter than the West end. Some good sized water holes to run through along the route but hard bottoms so no problems. West end has been cleared out / “improved” so it’s now less of a trail-vibe and really a gravel road.

Trail is open. There are some shallow mud holes to get dirty in. Creek is passable.

Getting deteriorated. Around a 8 inch drop off where culvert has washed out. Lots of ruts and large rocks. Should be harder than a 2 more like a 3 or 4

Looks like they’re doing work on the trail. The first half is much wider now and the brush has been cleared off the sides of the trail.

We came in from the west side of the trail, stock Gladiator rubicon, and Stock Nissan Frontier pro4x. We made it about half way through the trail before hitting the downed tree. No chainsaw today so we couldn’t clear it. Lots of mud holes and water was running fast over the low bridges. It was raining and had been all week prior. Also lots of snow melt from the previous week. Trail was tight, no pin stripes but very tight.
