Started from Perkinsvile road, first 13 miles where nothings to bad. After you pass the aps substation thats where the real fun begins. Once in the canyon you will follow the wash all the way to the top, bobbing in and out of the wash as you go. There will be a few sections that will definitely test your skills and or your spotters. The last portion of the trail was rather slick with a few good sized rocks but nothing worse then what you have already been through. I was driving my 98 tacoma, on 33 and 3in lift. Super fun, definitely recommend a spotter.

ran this again with my son who has spotting experience. 2016jk Rubicon stock 31" tires no lift. scraped the belly plates 4 or 5 times, nothing serious. this trail is all about finding the best line and having a good spotter once you hit the rock garden. that area is easily a 6 or 7.

Did this with a buddy. I am in a Tacoma 3 1/2 inch lift with 33s and he was in an FJ with 33s . This was a very fun and pretty challenging Trail. I bottomed out once or twice. But as long as you pick your lines and have a good spotter, you should be good.. The trail took us about four hours three hours of that was in the three or so miles of the wash which is basically slow rock crawling.. I would write that section of seven out of 10

Started from Jerome. first part wasnt hard but required attention since they're some blind turns. The latter stages of the trail got much, much more difficult. That would be the rock garden. This trail is rated at 5 but it should be rated a 6 or 7. My 2nd Gen Colorado ZR2 on 35's with a 4" lift and my buddy has a stock 3rd Gen Colorado ZR2 Bison Suspension and we still received a few dings, bumps and scratches. At the end of the day it is a great and fun trail. I recommend to go with someone, a spotter is useful.

We ran south to Jerome. Met 6 SxS coming south and then 2 jeeps found a place to let them pass since they were already committed to the obstacles. Need high clearance 35s or know your rig and placement. Could have damage. About 4-5 miles of intense rock garden & few steep hills, depending on start point either 1st or last. But nothing a jeep can’t handle. Beautiful cooler temps. Enjoyed it very much

There was at least 3 miles of low gear negotiating through river rocks and drop offs. The trail follows the river bed. My Rzr bottom out and slid at least 6 or 7 times…. No big deal but my partner in his 4 seater agreed that it was way more than a 5…. Good times!

We started at the campground (south end) all the way to Jerome and back to the campground as a loop. Just be prepared, the first 4-5 miles involves alot of rock crawling through drainage wash. Suggest 30" tires as a minimum. after 5 miles it was really a fun adventures ride. Great views, cattle, calves, to red rocks to Jerome.

This trail is fairly easy until you dip down into the river bed. This occurs on the portion of the trail between 89A if you enter from the South instead of from the Jerome by the ghost town, and the T in the Road, there are large water tanks. There are large boulders to dodge, dips between rocks and rocks that will challenge any undercarriage. Be prepared for scraping, possibly getting stuck on large rocks and using your rock guards on the sides. Possible off camber. There is a Road Closed gate that was open as we went through. Your other options are to turn around towards Jerome or head straight towards the Prescott.

Fairly easy until the creek bed. That required some serious wheeling. Made it on stock 392 XR on 35’s aired down to 20psi but hit a few rocks along the way. Mostly just some taps. Got caught on the slider in one spot. One steep climb about 2/3 of the way. Used 4LO there and in a few other spots. We came from 89A over to chino. Fun ride with some challenging spots. Took my wife and I about 3 1/2hrs to complete.

fairly easy trail. few miles of climbing and rock beds. suggest 35in tires and lift to clear the rock gardens in the creeks. Not to technical just need to know how to navigate over rocks.
