Trail Overview

This beautiful dirt road winds through an open ponderosa pine forest, offering long sight lines that make it great for spotting wildlife. The south end gains a bit of elevation before dropping back down to follow along the edge of a meadow. The road has some ruts along the way and gradually becomes rockier as it enters another, more open section of forest. Toward the north end, there are no major obstacles, but the terrain becomes consistently rocky with one small rock garden section that slows travel and makes for a bumpy ride.

Difficulty

This trail is rated 3/10 due to the rutted sections, increasing rockiness, and the small rock garden near the north end. While generally easy, drivers should be comfortable with uneven terrain and short rough sections.
