Trail Overview
The southern end of Seven Up is wide and gentle, making its way through a beautiful forest of ponderosa pines. As you progress northward, you'll encounter wash crossings with steep entrances and exits, as well as rock gardens, downed trees, mud ruts, and a loose rock shelf road. This area of the Prescott National Forest is popular with hunters, so you'll likely come across large campsites with primitive rock fire rings that sporadically dot the trail. Be on the lookout for washouts in the trail, as well as other hazards as this trail skirts a few hills that have obvious runoff after rain and snow events. There is no cell service on this trail.
