Trail Overview
Palo Verde Pinstripes is a typical desert trail that offers an enjoyable off-roading experience. While it may be narrow and heavily lined with vibrant palo verde trees, this path is a delight to traverse. The trail features an enjoyable shelf hill alongside a few loose rocky hills that will keep you engaged as you drive. Expect to encounter deep dips and off-camber sections that will test your vehicle's suspension and handling, making it a dynamic ride through the beautiful desert landscape. Along the way, you'll likely earn some of the iconic "pinstripes," courtesy of the Palo Verde trees that line the trail--not only do they add character to your vehicle, but they also serve as a sign of your adventurous spirit! Connectivity is limited along this trail, with only one bar of LTE available toward the northern end, and none at the southern end, which may impact your ability to stay connected while enjoying nature. That almost seems like an oxymoron. Important Note: Obtain your Arizona State Land Trust permit for access before heading out on Palo Verde Pinstripes. Prepare for the desert environment by packing adequate water and supplies, as conditions can change unexpectedly.
