Trail Overview
This is a very technical, steep, off-camber, and sketchy rock climb. There's a potential rollover hazard sideways as well as over backward if you were to pop a wheelie in the steepest spot. Jeep Waves are likely, and it has gotten even more sketchy lately as the recent rains have eroded it further. It is not a trail to bring beginners onto, however, it is bypassable using a sand trail just a short distance to the east.
Difficulty
This hill climb is not to be taken lightly, and will get beginners into trouble very quickly. Shorter-wheelbase machines will be at risk of flipping over backwards, especially if accelerating sharply during the climb. The climb also puts you off-camber in several spots, putting you at risk of rolling over and and down the hillside. Once you crest the hill, the difficulty drops to a 3. This hill should be climbed north to south to be safe; going the opposite direction risks sliding down the hill uncontrolled due to the steepness. Dirt bike riders are advised to avoid this hill climb.
