FS 530D

This trail starts as a rutted dirt road winding through the forest before climbing into rockier terrain. There are a few fire rings along the way that make for good dispersed camp spots. Around the halfway point, the trail becomes more challenging with large rocks protruding from the road, followed by a very rutted and bumpy section. Expect persistent obstacles, including rocks over 12 inches tall, deep ruts, and uneven holes that require careful tire placement. High clearance is necessary through this portion. Toward the north end near Forest Road 530A, the terrain begins to ease up, and the road becomes more manageable.
