FS 248C

FS 248C is a rough, narrow gravel road that winds through the forest with a short section of shelf road. The trail becomes tighter toward the end, with areas that can be hard to follow—watch for existing tire tracks and stay aligned with your map as the route begins to fade back into nature. You’ll pass through sections impacted by past fire, with more burn area near the end of the trail. Be cautious of standing trees that may be unstable, and pay close attention when choosing a place to park. A more rugged, lightly traveled route that feels remote and reclaimed by the forest.
