Trail Overview

This dirt and rocky road will bypass the famous Carpet Hill on the Rug Road to Klondyke trail, placing you approximately one mile North of Carpet Hill. The entrance to Cowboy Miller Road is off South River Road. Please be respectful of the private land staging area and follow signage to keep the gates closed.

This is an easy dirt and rocky road. It's a nice warm-up or cool-down for the Rug Road to Klondyke.

This trail was completely open, but we had to open/close two gates. Excellent day to ride this trail since last night's rains really cooled the daytime air temperature. We drove this trail to the point that it intersects with Rug Rd to Klondyke. Fun ride with some steepness and rocky aspects towards the junction with Rug Rd. Excellent views of Little Table Mountain and Boulder Mountain.
