Big, wide-open views stretch out in every direction, making the exposure feel just as real as the terrain. High clearance is needed, and 4WD is strongly recommended to stay in control through the rougher sections. Keep your speed in check, stay mindful of wheel placement, and respect the narrow stretches. The trail tops out at the intersection with Dry Tank Ridge—ending on a high note with views that make the climb worth it.
