Livestock is commonly present in the area, so reduced speeds and awareness are advised. High-clearance vehicles are recommended, with both 2WD and 4WD typically capable in dry conditions. The trail terminates at a Y-intersection, where onward travel may be restricted; the nearby ranch appears to block access to the connecting route with trash and barrels and large boulders barricading BLM 30017.
