Lopez Loop

This off-road trail begins at a four-way intersection where three other onX trails converge, offering a variety of routes for exploration. The trail starts with a steady climb, marked by light corrugation on the initial ascent, as it follows a well-traveled road. After approximately 1.5 miles, the path diverges at a memorial for a fallen mountain biker, transitioning onto a smoother, wilder route. The trail meanders through medium desert vegetation from here, passing a couple of open fences before reaching a key junction. You can turn right for an easy, high-clearance 2WD route leading back to Centenario or venture left toward Highway 1 near Constitucion. The left option, however, demands a competent 4WD vehicle and advanced driving skills due to its challenging terrain. Be sure to review this route thoroughly if you choose to take it.
