This mellow route begins at the parking area at the end of Hudson Pointe Boulevard in Queensbury and follows a network of well-marked paths through a small, wooded preserve. From the trailhead, stay right to follow the outermost loop in a counterclockwise direction. The path gently winds through hardwood forest with occasional views of the Hudson River. Several signed junctions make navigation easy, with side trails offering quick access to river overlooks and quiet benches. Expect muddy stretches in early spring and occasional icy patches in winter. Wildlife sightings are common, and dogs are welcome on leash.
While not a remote hike, this route is a pleasant and accessible option for locals looking for a peaceful walk in the woods near Glens Falls.
